The paper is focused on studying regularities of holophrastic constructions’ functioning in the English literary prose by means identifying and classifying most significant features their linguistic characteristics expression. Holophrastic construction regarded as a synthetically formed composite lexical unit that combines word, word-combination, or sentence, which figuratively but precisely represents communication integrative pictures individuals’ thinking behavior, fixed memory corresponding concept, for decoding recipients use communicative cognitive experience.
